EPS Southwest Branch Patrol responded to a weapons complaint in the area of 101 Street and Whyte Avenue on Aug. 19, 2023, at approximately 3:15 a.m.  Upon arrival, police located a male and a female with serious injuries. 

Paramedics treated and transported the 33-year-old female to hospital in stable condition. She continues to recover. Alister Chisholm, 32, died of a gunshot wound, in hospital, and the manner of death is homicide.
