Edmonton police responded to a trouble not known call at a residence near 128 Avenue and 129 Street on January 23rd at approximately 10:30pm.

Police and paramedics arrived to find Terry Allen Maksymyszyn, 53, unconscious suffering from injuries. The victim was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries on January 24th at 4:20am. Homicide Section has taken carriage of the investigation.

 The Edmonton Medical Examiner has scheduled an autopsy for Tuesday morning to determine the cause of death.

Update January 29th
Mark Robie Wheeler, 47, of Edmonton, was arrested on January 28th, and charged with second degree murder.
