Update: Three charged in the 2021 Edmonton Double Homicide of Deidra Aldridge and Daniel Grandbois

Edmonton police attended a residence in the area of 111 Street and 78 Avenue under suspicious circumstances on January 6th at approximately 7:30pm.

Police arrived at the scene to find two deceased victims both deaths as suspicious.

Homicide Section has taken carriage of this investigation.

Update January 11th
The deceased have been identified as 29-year-old Deidra Aldridge and 30-year-old Daniel Grandbois neither of them lived in the home where they were found. EPS said the causes of death are not being released at this time for investigative reasons. The manner of death in both cases is deemed to be homicide.

Update January 28th 2023
On Dec. 20, 2022, Edmonton police arrested Joshua Saulteaux, 22. On Dec. 24, 2022, RCMP arrested a 17-year-old youth in St. Paul. On Jan. 8, 2023, Martin Dubitski, 39 was arrested in Maskwacis. They have all been charged with two counts of first degree murder
