Edmonton police responded to an assault at a motel near 38 Avenue and Calgary Trail at approximately 8:00 p.m., Sunday, May 24.
Police arrived to find Lisa Arsenault, 38, deceased inside one of the motel suites. An autopsy was performed and revealed the manner of death to be a homicide. The cause of death has not been released at this time.
Homicide Section has since taken over the investigation, anyone with information on this homicide or the whereabouts of Ms. Arsenault prior to the evening of Sunday, May 24, 2020, to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567.
Update August 20th
Investigators have released surveillance images and video of a person of interest who was seen walking outside the motel, where Lisa Arsenault was murdered. Anyone who can identify the male seen in the surveillance images and/or who may have information about this homicide is urged to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567.
Police have also released images of a vehicle, described as a silver Dodge Magnum, that the male may have been driving at the time.
