Dufferin OPP responded to a home on Main Street in Shelburne, to check on the well-being of a person on January 8th.

On arrival police located 65-year-old Debra Neale deceased inside of the residence. An autopsy was performed on January 17th and revealed the manner of death to be a homicide. The cause of death has not been released.

Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of Scott Eric Pinney, 44, of Orangeville, who is wanted for second degree murder. Investigators believe he may be operating a white, 2019 Honda Civic, with Ontario licence plate CTPC 389.

Scott Pinney was found inside his abandoned vehicle in a secluded area near Hearst, Ont. on Jan. 17 by a passerby. Police said his death has not been deemed suspicious or a suicide.
