Nunuvut RCMP said in a news release, as a result of an investigation carried out by RCMP ‘V’ Division Major Crime Unit, Forensic Identification Section and members of the Sanikiluaq Detachment, Danny Paul Eyaituk, 38, was charged with first degree murder, after his wife Annie Tracy Oqaituq, 36, was found deceased in their Sanikiluaq home on April 19, 2024, .

Danny Paul Eyaituk’s will appear in court on April 23, 2024, in Iqaluit, Nunavut.

The RCMP would like to thank the residents of Sanikiluaq for their assistance throughout the investigation.
