Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) officers from the 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara-on-the-Lake) responded to a welfare check at a residence near Huron and St. Claire Avenue in Niagara Falls on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at around 10:30 a.m.

On arrival, officers discovered an adult female who had passed away inside the home. Niagara Regional Police Service homicide detectives have positively identified the female as 59-year-old Lori Konrad.

The victim’s son, 41-year-old Dale James Vincent from Niagara Falls has been charged with Second Degree Murder in connection with the death.

Homicide detectives, along with the Forensic Services Unit (FSU), are currently investigating the case. Authorities believe the incident was not random.
