RCMP responded to the report of a shooting near Lambert Way near Turner Avenue on December 8th at approximately 11:00pm.

On arrival police and EMS located a woman suffering from gunshot injuries in a vehicle. Despite lifesaving efforts the victim died of her injuries.

No arrests have been made and police said they believe the shooting was an “isolated incident.”

Update
The victim has been identified as Stephanie Forster, 39. According to reports Gianluigi Derossi, the victim’s estranged husband shot himself while his vehicle was pulled over by police two days after her murder.
