Coaldale RCMP conducted a wellbeing check on a residence in Coaldale on June 3rd after concerned neighbors said they hadn’t seen any activity in awhile.

Coaldale RCMP attended the home with a locksmith and discovered the remains of a 90-year-old woman and a 63-year-old man. Police said the deceased were in a state of decomposition.

An autopsy was performed and revealed the death of the man to be non criminal. There are no suspects being sought by police and no risk to the public. No further updates will be provided.
