Charge laid in Tootinaowaziibeeng First Nation murder

The remains of a 44 year old man had been found by RCMP major crime services on July 1st in Tootinaowaziibeeng First Nation. Investigators said the body had been there for at least 10 days before being discovered. The deceased had not been reported missing.

Rylan McKay, 23 of Tootinaowaziibeng has been charged with second-degree murder. The name of the victim and cause of death have not been released. Police said the victim and the accused were known to each-other.
