RCMP responded to a home on report of a stabbing on September 18 on Tallcree First Nation. Police found a 46 year old man suffering from a stab wound, and transported him to hospital.

The man succumbed to his injuries on October 7th. The victim’s name will not be released.

Police arrested Sheldon Lee Auger, from Fort Vermillion, and charged him with second degree murder.
