Sandy Bay police responded to a report of an assault at a residence in Sandy Bay in late December, 2020.

Police said Jacob Sewap was located injured at the residence in Sandy Bay in late December, 2020. He died as a result of his injuries in early January 2021.

Lenny Sinclair from Sandy Bay, Saskatchewan was arrested on October 21st and charged with second degree murder.
