William Marcel Maassen found dead behind plaza

36 year old William Marcel Maassen was found August 7th behind a Mississauga plaza. His cause of death has not been released.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and homicide detectives are asking for your help.

Alexandre Gendron charged with the murder of pregnant girlfriend Cheryl Bau-Tremblay

Alexandre Gendron has been charged with first degree murder in the death of his girlfriend, Cheryl Bau-Tremblay, who was five months pregnant.

Bau-Tremblay was reported missing on August 1st and her body was found in their Richelieu Quebec home August 8th.

The details of Bau-Tremblay’s death are still unclearPolice believe the incident happened between Saturday, Aug. 1, and Thursday, Aug. 6.

Wayne Croft murdered by his brother Charles Croft

Police responded to the scene in Mississauga on August 1st after a family member reported that two brothers had been involved in an altercation.

upon arrival to the scene they found 49-year-old Wayne Croft suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Croft was then rushed to hospital but died on arrival.  Peel police have charged Charles Croft with second degree murder.

Robert Strang charged with the murder of his wife, Lisa Strang

RCMP have charged John Robert Strang with with first-degree murder in the death of his wife, Lisa Strang.

Lisa Strang, 47, was found dead in her home on August 1st in the village of McLean, SK., the murder prompted a manhunt for 48-year old John Robert Strang.

An off-duty RCMP officer spotted a vehicle matching the description of Strang’s Jeep and followed the vehicle. Strang was then taken into custody.

The cause of death has not been released.

John James MacDonald Murdered in Kingston ON Prison

John James MacDonald died July 27th at Kingston General Hospital after being found, needing medical attention in the exercise yard of Collins Bay Institution the day prior.
A post-mortem examination was performed at Ottawa General Hospital and the death was deemed to be a homicide.

Police  are not releasing the cause of death at this time.

Mackenzie Leah Harris, murdered. Police need your help.

Mackenzie Leah Harris’s body was found August 3rd after reports of her missing August 1st. Her body in the nearby town of Calmar.

Investigators want to talk to anyone who may have seen or heard anything unusual at the park late Friday or early Saturday.

Police have not revealed any more details about the death.

After a 7 month investigation four people have been charged with second-degree murder in the slaying of Mackenzie Leah Harris.

Duvel Hibbert and Ariela Navarro-Fenoy shot dead at OVO fest

Shots were fired in two separate  instances at the Exhibition Grounds approximately 3:20 a.m. on August  4th. One of the shooting victims Duvel Hibbert was fatally wounded inside Muzik nightclub, while the second Ariela Navarro-Fenoy was found just blocks away near the Dufferin Gates on the grounds.

Police believe Hibbert’s shooting to be targeted, yet Navarro-Fenoy to be wrong place at the wrong time.
