Robert Strang charged with the murder of his wife, Lisa Strang

RCMP have charged John Robert Strang with with first-degree murder in the death of his wife, Lisa Strang.

Lisa Strang, 47, was found dead in her home on August 1st in the village of McLean, SK., the murder prompted a manhunt for 48-year old John Robert Strang.

An off-duty RCMP officer spotted a vehicle matching the description of Strang’s Jeep and followed the vehicle. Strang was then taken into custody.

The cause of death has not been released.

John James MacDonald Murdered in Kingston ON Prison

John James MacDonald died July 27th at Kingston General Hospital after being found, needing medical attention in the exercise yard of Collins Bay Institution the day prior.
A post-mortem examination was performed at Ottawa General Hospital and the death was deemed to be a homicide.

Police  are not releasing the cause of death at this time.

Mackenzie Leah Harris, murdered. Police need your help.

Mackenzie Leah Harris’s body was found August 3rd after reports of her missing August 1st. Her body in the nearby town of Calmar.

Investigators want to talk to anyone who may have seen or heard anything unusual at the park late Friday or early Saturday.

Police have not revealed any more details about the death.

After a 7 month investigation four people have been charged with second-degree murder in the slaying of Mackenzie Leah Harris.

Duvel Hibbert and Ariela Navarro-Fenoy shot dead at OVO fest

Shots were fired in two separate  instances at the Exhibition Grounds approximately 3:20 a.m. on August  4th. One of the shooting victims Duvel Hibbert was fatally wounded inside Muzik nightclub, while the second Ariela Navarro-Fenoy was found just blocks away near the Dufferin Gates on the grounds.

Police believe Hibbert’s shooting to be targeted, yet Navarro-Fenoy to be wrong place at the wrong time.

Andrew Merlin Schriver charged with the death of Richard Foster

Andrew Merlin Schriver of Central , Waterville has been charged with second degree murder in the death of Richard Foster of Bull Lake.

On August 2nd police found Foster and Schriver in a home in Central Waterville, suffering from stab wounds.

The pair was transported to hospital where Foster died overnight. Upon release from the hospital Schriver was arrested in connection with the death.

Schriver is in jail until his next court appearance on November 19th.

July’s youngest victim was a 10 month old baby boy, and the oldest victim was an 82 year old man.

34 year old man found dead

Paramedics were called to an apartment in the Gay Village in Montreal July 30th to treat a man in cardiac arrest. On arrival they found a 34 year old man dead at the scene.

The name of the victim has not been released and the investigation continues.

Delores Brown’s remains found near Norway Island

The remains of 19 year old Delores Brown have been found near British Columbia’s Gulf Islands.  Brown had gone missing July 27th on a visit to her grandmother.

Police say foul play is suspected and continue to investigate.
