Peterborough Police were called to a report of a shooting on Park Street North and Sherbrooke Street area on July 2nd at approximately 2:00pm.
On arrival police and paramedics located 37-year-old Shawn Singh suffering from gunshot injuries. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.
27-year-old Jack Monine of Peterborough was arrested during the execution of a search warrant on Friday, September 9, 2022, and charged with:
- Second degree murder
- Accessory after the fact to murder
- Fail to comply with probation
35-year-old Rebecca Silva of Toronto was arrested during the execution of a search warrant on Thursday, September 8, 2022, and charged with:
- Manslaughter with a firearm
- Accessory after the fact to murder
Police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of 34-year-old Eduardo Tito Silva of Barrie. Silva is wanted in connection with the homicide of Shawn Singh.
