Calgary police responded to reports of shots fired in the 6900 block of Ranchero Road N.W on January 1st at approximately 3:40 a.m.

Police located two men suffering from gunshot wounds, one man was declared deceased at the scene and the other was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.

Investigators believe the homicide was targetted, and are collecting CCTV footage.

Homicide investigators are asking for the public’s help to locate Samiul Islam TURZO, 20, who is wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant in relation to the homicide of Stallone Leonard Mark CLARE. TURZO is described as 5’5” tall and approximately 160 pounds.

Samiul TURZO, 20, of Calgary, was arrested without incident on Monday, April 3, 2023. He is charged with first-degree murder
