Brandon police said Burton Tascan was followed into his apartment by a man and a woman on September 30th. Tascan was beaten and robbed by the pair, who left him in serious condition.

Tascan was airlifted to a Winnipeg hospital where he died of his injuries on October 3rd.

Ashley Nicole Ross, 28, has been charged with manslaughter, aggravated assault and robbery with violence and Mitchell Jerod Myron, 25, has been charged with manslaughter, aggravated assault and robbery with violence
