OPP officers responded to a call for assistance on March 23rd in Kirkland Lake where they found the body of Brenda Lautaoja 68.

OPP said following an investigation, 33-year-old Troy Lautaoja from Kirkland Lake was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. Police have not released the relationship between the victim and the accused.
