Brayden Ferrall, 22, was reported as missing to the Brantford Police Service on February 22nd after not being seen or heard from for several days.
Brantford police conducted multiple canvasses in an effort to obtain any information or video that could assist in locating Brayden.
On May 3rd Brantford Police Service was made aware of the discovery of a deceased person in the area of Campbell Road and Old Onondaga Road East in the County of Brant. As a result of the autopsy, the Office of the Coroner identified the body to be that of Brayden Ferrall and the manner of death a homicide. The cause of death has not been released at this time.

Update: On June 9, 2022, detectives with the Brantford Police Service charged 26-year-old Kathleen Bacon of Brantford, with accessory after the fact to murder in relation to the homicide of Brayden Ferrall.

Brantford police said in a press release “At this time, police are unable to release further details surrounding the nature of the homicide and the investigative process as this is an active and on-going homicide investigation.”
According to CTV News court records allege Bacon knew Ferrall’s murderer, and helped the man escape sometime between Feb. 20 and Feb. 23. The documents name Nieko Bodine as the alleged killer. A man with the same name and age as Bodine died earlier this year.
On Thursday, October 20, 2022, detectives with the Brantford Police Service charged 28-year-old Baron BRADING-SEARLES of Brantford, with accessory after the fact to murder in relation to the homicide of Brayden Ferrall.
