Update: Joey Stalthanee charged with murder – Black Lake RCMP investigates the suspicious death of Victor Robillard

Black Lake RCMP received a report of an injured male at a residence in Black Lake on March 20, 2024 at approximately 8:20 p.m.

On arrival police located  52-year-old Victor Robillard from Black Lake Denesuline First Nation, suffering serious injuries. He was transported to hospital and was later declared deceased.

Update: As a result of continued investigation by Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes, 29-year-old Joey Stalthanee from Black Lake, SK is charged with one count, second degree murder.
