RCMP are investigating after a 53-year-old man was found by community members lying on the road in Berens River, Manitoba on September 16th.

The man was suffering from wounds believed to be from an assault. He was taken to Winnipeg hospital in critical condition where he died of his injuries on September 22nd. His death is being investigated as a homicide.
