Battlefords RCMP located an injured 24-year-old male near a residence on Saulteaux First Nation on May 8, 2024 at approximately 11:20 p.m.

On arrival police and paramedics located the victim who was later pronounced deceased by EMS.

The death was considered suspicious and Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes took carriage of the investigation.
