Samir Mokhtar was shot to death in East Vancouver July 27th, just blocks from the murder scene of Jason Nguyen.
Mokhtar was accused in the killing of 20-year-old Aladdin Ramadan, September 2014, and was on bail when he was killed, living at his father’s home.
Investigators are trying to determine whether Monday’s murder, which marked the 10th in Vancouver since the start of the year, was any kind of retaliation.

Jason Nguyen was found injured in his home by a family member on Sunday July 26th.
Police say the teen had severe injuries and was rushed to a nearby children’s hospital, but he died on the operating table.

Leaf Rapids RCMP is investigating the death of a 28-year-old male who’s name has not been released. The victim was found deceased near the South Indian Lake on July 23.
Vernon Robert Baker, 18, has since been charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of a South Indian Lake man.

Ernest McKay, 20, and a 16-year-old boy were arrested and charged with second-degree murder in connection to the death of Dion Head, 42 on July 25th.
At around 11:30 am Carrot River RCMP were called to a home with reports of an injured person on the Red Earth First Nation.
Dion Head was deceased upon arrival of RCMP.
Police have not released the cause of death.
Homicide detectives have evidence that 22 year old Shawn Kapadia was killed on July 5th inside a Toronto apartment. However the real question in this case is where is the body.
At first Shawn Kapadia’s body was believed to have been encased in a block of cement that people in Niagara saw being carried by a backhoe. Police now suspect that block may have been dumped in the Welland Canal.

A 37 year old man who was convicted of abusing his son when he was a child, has been charged with manslaughter On Nov 2nd, in the death of his 13-month-old grandson.
The baby was airlifted from Niagara to McMaster hospital with a fatal head injury on July 25 where he dies the next day.
Despite pleading from the baby’s young father and the grandfather’s criminal record, he and his wife were granted custody of the baby in May by the local children’s aid society.
On July 20th at 7:30 am, emergency crews responded to a house fire in the north end of Winnipeg. Once the fire was extinguished fire fighters located The body of Justin Harvey Chezic, 42 years old.
Police haven’t said whether or not Chezick was killed before the fire was started, or by the fire itself.
On Monday July 27th Romeo Ryle, 19, turned himself in to police, two days after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Ryle has since been charged with second degree Murder.
RCMP charged Joel Clow July 26th with murder, Clow is also facing charges of indecently interfering with human remains in the death of Traci Lynch in Pleasant Gove whose body was found July 24th.
The case has been adjourned and has been scheduled to return to court Aug. 19
Daniel Lefebvre, 25, of Thurso Quebec was charged with manslaughter after his seven week old baby, died July 17th.
Lefebvre has been accused of shaking his baby, who was found unconscious on July 15.
Gino Langevin was charged with first-degree murder Wednesday July 22, the day after witnesses say Gail Fawcett was “stabbed by a naked man” in broad daylight in Ottawa Ontario.
Fawcett was rushed to hospital but later died from her injuries.
The attack started inside the home and ended on the street. The first-responding paramedic, witnessed the stabbing, kicked the knife away from the suspect and called for police.
