Montreal police said a car was found burning on Halpern Street on the Highway 40 service road around 2:30 a.m on November 23rd.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze, only to find a deceased victim in the vehicle. Police have not released whether the body is male or female, but have categorized the death as the city’s 28th homicide of 2018.

Strathcona County RCMP responded to a 911 report of a deceased male on a rural property at Highway 14 and Range Road 231 in Strathcona County, on November 29th at approximately 8:35am.
Police arrived to find a deceased 25-year-old men who was later identified as Gursumeet Singh Brar. Police said the circumstances surrounding the death of Brar were suspicious, and the autopsy revealed the manner of death to be a homicide. Cause of death has not been released.
No arrests have been made at this time.
Hamilton police were called to an apartment in an affordable housing complex at Melvin Avenue and Parkdale Avenue North on November 30th at approximately 1:30am.
Police arrived to find 53-year-old Michel Pilon, deceased. No other information has been released. Police expect to make an update later today, Nov 30th.
No charges laid at this time, however one person is in custody. Witnesses are asked to contact police at 900-546-3825.
Teulon RCMP responded to a report of a 20-year-old woman shot in a vehicle, on November 17th at approximately 11:40pm in the area of Provincial Road 231 in the RM of Armstrong.
Police said investigation has lead them to believe that an altercation had broken out at a bar in Fraserwood earlier that evening. A man who had been at the bar left and parked approximately 2 miles away from Fraserwood on Kuz Road. Three cars belonging to patrons from the bar passed the suspect and opened fire.
A 20-year-old woman who was in another vehicle was struck and died of her injuries in hospital.
Jesse Paluk, 23, is charged with Second Degree Murder, Attempt Murder x 7, Discharge Firearm at Motor Vehicle with Intent to Wound x 3, Reckless Discharge of Firearm x 3, and Assault with a Weapon.
Surrey Police were called to a report of shots fired in the14600-block of Southview Drive at around 11:46am on November 26th.
Police said 41-year-old Ranjeev Sangha was pronounced deceased at the scene. The IHIT said the suspects immediately fled after the shooting in a black four-door sedan.
Richmond police received a report of burning black sedan in the 12000-block of Cambie Road, on a pedestrian path at approximately 12:49pm.

Halifax Regional Police responded to a weapons call on Clovis Avenue in the community of Spryfield, N.S., on November 23rd at approximately 9:00pm.
Police arrived to find 25-year-old Ryan Michael Nehiley, suffering from life threatening injuries. Nehiley was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
No arrests have been made at this time, and police do not believe the shooting was random.
Calgary police were called to Paranoia nightclub located at 118 5 Avenue S.E. on November 25th, at approximately 2:50 am on report of an altercation.
Police believe that more than 20 people were involved in the altercation that left a man in his 30s in life-threatening condition. The victim was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.
Police will not be releasing the identity of the victim or cause of death at this time.
Cordelius Terry Jackson Harrison 29, is wanted for second degree murder. He is described as approximately 5’9” tall, 190 pounds and most often has black, shoulder-length braided hair.

Update November 28th
Cordelius Terry Jackson Harrison, surrendered to Calgary police on Tuesday, November 27th. Harrison is facing a charge of second-degree murder in relation to the death of Rofas Ibrahim Sheikeldin, 37.
Ottawa police responded to reports of a shooting at South Keys Mall on November 23rd at approximately 6:30 pm.
Police and paramedics located Yonis Barkhadle, 27 years old of Ottawa, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot. Barkhadle was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.
No arrests have been made at this time.

Hamilton Police responded to report of a shooting on Clifton Downs Road, on November 22, just before 9:00pm.
Police and paramedics arrived to find Marko Bakir, 31, of Hamilton, suffering from gunshot wounds. Bakir was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Yellowknife RCMP responded to a report of an unconscious adult male who had been located in a white SUV City Cab in the area of Stanton Territorial Hospital on November 19th at approximately 4:47am.
Police said the victim was transported into the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The victim’s identity and cause of death have not been released.
RCMP have arrested Elias Schiller, 18, of Yellowknife, and James Schiller, 49, of Yellowknife. Both Elias Schiller and James Schiller have been charged with murder.
