Winnipeg police responded to a residence in the 800 block of Pritchard Avenue on a report of an unresponsive male on August 22nd at approximately 9:30am.
Police arrived to find Kyle Allan Malanchuk, a 26-year-old male of Winnipeg, suffering from a gunshot wound. Malanchuk was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.
A Canada wide warrant has been issued for the arrest of Bradley Shawn Thomas, a 24-year-old male of Winnipeg for charges of Second Degree Murder. Thomas is described as an Indigenous male in appearance, 5’7” in height, approximately 131 lbs in weight and has a thin build. He has brown eyes and is believed to have short black hair.
The public is cautioned not to approach Thomas. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call 911.

On Friday, August 30, police arrested Bradley Shawn Thomas in the area of Salter Street and Alfred Avenue, and charged him with second degree murder.
