Windsor Police Service attended a residence in the City of Windsor for a report of a sudden death of a man on February 26th, 2020.
Investigations revealed the cause of death to be a Fentanyl overdose. As a result of the investigation, search warrants, interviews and extensive review of surveillance video investigators identified the suspect as being responsible for providing the fatal drug to the deceased person.
Amie Decker,32, was arrested on March 20th, and charged her with Manslaughter, Trafficking a Controlled Substance – Fentanyl, Fail to Comply with a Release Order.
