Emergency responders along with the B.C. Coroners Service responded to Highway 1 approximately three kilometers east of the Yale Tunnel in Boston Bar after receiving a report of a deceased female at the side of the road by a passing motorist, on June 3rd at approximately 4:22am..
The deceased, who has been identified as Alicia Hatarina Berg, 29, had suspicious injuries and IHIT was called in to take carriage of the investigation.
IHIT Press Release: “Investigators are asking for dashcam video from drivers who were traveling between Hope and Boston Bar on June 3, 2020 between midnight and 5 a.m. Anyone who saw someone matching Alicia’s description is urged to contact IHIT immediately.
Alicia Berg is described as:
- Caucasian
- Green hair
- 29-years-old
- 5’6’’
- 140 lbs.
- Wearing a grey hoody, grey-black sweat pants, and sandals.
