21-year-old Ali Ngarukiye has been formally charged with second-degree murder in relation to the death of 57-year-old André Lapierre, who was found dead inside the Rivière-des-Prairies Detention Centre on June 17th.

According to reports Lapierre’s body bore several marks of injuries which justified the filing of a charge of contempt of a corpse.
