Police responded to the report of an unresponsive woman at a home on September 27th at approximately 2:45pm.

Andreanne Ouellet, 32 was rushed to hospital where she died of her injuries later that night. Sûreté du Québec investigators arrested Alexandre Boudreau Chartrand, 36, the victim’s ex partner on September 28th, and charged him with second-degree murder. The cause of death has not been released at this time.

Police said Ouellet’s 5 children were not home at the time of the homicide.
