Police responded to reports of gunshots near Laura Rd. and Sheppard Ave in North York, on July 13th at around 4:50 pm. According to police, the caller said there were 2 vehicles shooting at each other.

On arrival police found a car full of bullet holes with 2 men inside. Police say Abdirizak Hersi 20 was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead. The second victim also 20, was treated and released.
