Toronto police responded to the report of a stabbing at a business in the area of Bloor Street West and Shaw Street, at approximately 5:04pm on November 18th.

It has been reported that the man and woman were having an argument that ultimately lead to both being stabbed. Responding officers located the woman without vitals. Despite life saving measured the victim was reported deceased at the scene by paramedics.

Toronto police have identified the victim as Tigist Takle, 31, of Toronto.

The injured male was taken into custody by police and sent to hospital with very serious injuries. TPS said there are no outstanding suspects.

Samuel Girmatsion, 36, of Toronto, was charged with:

1. First-Degree Murder
