According to reports the incident occurred on August 19th, at around 8:40 p.m. on Bayhampton Drive, near Castlemore Road and Humberwest Parkway.

Officers responded to reports of a disturbance and found two men inside the home with gunshot injuries.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene. The second was transported to a trauma centre with injuries that are not considered life-threatening. Police have not disclosed the victims’ ages.

Const. Sarah Patten stated that investigators believe the shooting was targeted and isolated. The suspects reportedly fled in a vehicle, but no descriptions of them or the vehicle have been released.
