A man and a woman have been charged in the fatal stabbing of a man on Flying Dust First Nation

Meadow Lake RCMP and local EMS responded to the report of a stabbing at a residence on Deer Street on the Flying Dust First Nation on February 9th at approximately 9:00pm.

 A 43-year-old man was located suffering from serious injuries at the home. He was rushed to hospital where he died from his injuries. Police have not released the identity of the deceased.

Police have arrested to people in relation to the murder:

31-year-old Conrad Joseph Jay Merasty, of Flying Dust First Nation, SK, has been charged with Second Degree Murder.

31-year-old Lucy Annelle Whitecap, of Nipawin, SK, has been charged with Second Degree Murder, Assault with a Weapon, Uttering Threats, and Breach of an Undertaking in relation to the death of Kenneth Merasty of the Flying Dust First Nation.
