York Regional Police responded to the report of a stabbing at a home on Fred Varley Drive on January 25th at 6:20pm.

Police and paramedics arrived to find a 31-year-old man suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

A 33-year-old female, was arrested at the residence and has been charged with Second Degree Murder. York Regional police said the identity of the accused and the victim will not be released to protect the identity of an additional family member who was in the residence at the time of the incident.
