65 year old Eleanor Campbell dies after being run over by her daughter

Michelle Campbell 43 has been charged with second degree murder after police allege she intentionally ran down her mother in a furniture store parking lot and then fled the scene.

On March 22, Eleanor Campbell 65, was fatally hit by her daughters vehicle in a Toronto Leon’s parking lot just moments after she stepped out of the vehicle with her walker.

Police say Eleanor Campbell was pronounced dead at the scene.

Update: Michelle Campbell — the Ontario woman deemed not criminally responsible in 2017 for killing her mother by repeatedly striking her with a car — recently raised alarm with her treatment team after buying a vehicle without notifying them. Under her conditional discharge at Ontario Shores, Campbell is required to get permission before driving and must submit an approved travel plan, since a car was the weapon used in the original offence.
