Police responded to a 911 call made by a 69-year-old man in regards to concern for his daughter and asked that she be taken to a hospital for assessment on February 11th at approximately 11:00am.
Police reportedly attended the residence and initiated discussions with the father and the woman. Police then requested the assistance of ambulance drivers to assess the woman’s condition. Paramedics said the woman didn’t present a danger to herself or to others and agreed to leave the home of her father Friday at the end of the day.
The next day the 69-year-old man was found dead outside of the home. According to www.tvanouvelles.ca, The man was found deceased of a gunshot wound to the head.
The investigation is ongoing, no arrests have been made at this time.
