RCMP responded to a disturbance at an apartment complex in the 200-block of West 3rd Street, on December 13th at approximately 11:05am.

On arrival police located a 68-year-old woman from a stab wound. She was pronounced at the scene. Investigators have identified the victim as 68-year old Dominga Santos.

On December 14, a charge of second degree murder was laid against the suspect, now identified as 46-year old Anthony Del Rosario of North Vancouver, the nephew of the victim.
