Peel police officers attended a residence on Checkerberry Crescent in Brampton in regards to a woman suffering from life threatening injuries on September 16th at approximately 4:30pm.

Police and paramedics arrived to find a 58-year-old woman suffering from blunt force trauma. Paramedics transported her to a Toronto Trauma Centre where she died of her injuries on September 18th.

Originally the victim’s 64-year-old husband was charged with attempted murder, however, his charge will be upgraded.
