Emergency services responded to report of a woman who was located with obvious signs of trauma within the garage of a residence on Treeline Boulevard and Linstock Drive, at approximately 7:00 pm on August 13th.
The 56-year-old Sangita Sharma was rushed to hospital where she died from a gunshot wound. Homicide investigators have identified two suspects and a black sedan that are of interest.

Update June 7th 2021
On Friday, June 4, 2021, Fiseha Girmay Habtegabir, of London Ontario was arrested, with the assistance of London Police, and charged with First Degree Murder.

Peel police said the investigation is continuing to identify additional suspects. Police are still searching for a connection between the suspects in London and the victim in Brampton.
Update June 25th
On June 23, 2021, a second suspect was located in Fort McMurray. With the assistance of Wood Buffalo RCMP, Malik Essue, a 23-year-old man from London, Ontario, was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder.
