Abbotsford police responded to reports of a stabbing on Riverside Rd at 10:15 pm on April 7th.

Police arrived and located a severely injured man inside of a tent at a homeless encampment. The 35-year-old victim was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Sergeant Judy Bird said “We are in the early stages of this investigation; however, the initial indications suggest this appears to be a targeted incident.”
