31 year old man charged in the death of Matthew Arcara 22

York Regional Police were called to a residence on Botany Crescent on report that a robbery had taken place in the City of Toronto and that a vehicle connected to it may be located in the area of Bayswater Avenue and Emily Court on May 17, 2018, at approximately 6:50 a.m.

Police arrived at the scene to find a vehicle at the end of the street with a man deceased in the driver’s seat. The victim has been identified by family ad Matthew Arcars. Police then attended the residence in Toronto where they found 2 men tied up and a dog who had been killed.

Police said that two suspects were involved in the murder and then attended a residence in Toronto connected to the victim.

Arjuna Paramsothy has been charged with one count of first degree murder, two counts of robbery using a firearm, two counts of forcible confinement, one count of disguise with intent and one count of killing an animal.
