Newfoundland Murder Victim List 2023 is available here

RNC Operational Patrol Services responded to a residence on Hunt’s Lane in St. John’s following a report of a disturbance on January 2, 2022.

Police located the 55-year-old female victim, and she was rushed to hospital where she succumbed to complications resulting from the injury on February 24, 2022.

Update March 8th 2023,
RNC Major Crime Unit, arrested a 27-year-old male from St. John’s and charged him with manslaughter in connection with the homicide. The accused was known to the deceased. The 27-year-old male has been released to appear on the charges in Provincial Court on April 13, 2023.
