24-year-old Philip Lloyd Celian dies of a stab wound in Montreal’s 3rd homicide of 2019

Montreal police were called to an apartment on Faribault Avenue near Henri-de-Salieres Ave at approximately 3:00pm on February 6th on report of a stabbing.

The victim, Philip Lloyd Celian, was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. 26-year-old Sabrina-Rose Dufour was arrested and taken in for questioning. Police said the victim and the accused had been in an argument that escalated. She is facing a charge of manslaughter.

Update January 12th 2021:
Sabrina-Rose Dufour’s trial opened Monday, January 11th, at the Montreal courthouse. Dufour is accused of causing the death of Phillip Lloyd Celian, that ended a violent relationship.

Last week a 70-year-old woman was stabbed to death on the same street, however police said it is just a coincidence.
