Raymond Henry Muller charged with the gruesome death of Cedric Gagnon

A Montreal street musician, Raymond Henry Muller, 51, has been  accused of killing his roommate, Cedric Gagnon, 39.   The victim performed with Muller in a Montreal band called Pirates.

It is alleged that Muller killed and dismembered Gagnon in early July and disposed of his body parts. The remains on Gagnon have not been found. Police believe they were disposed in boxes and bags, and taken by the garbage truck.

Muller was charged on September 3rd with first degree murder and committing an indignity to a corpse.

Body of Mary Madeline Yellowback,found in recycling materials in a Winnipeg Recycling Depot

Winnipeg Police Service responded to a report of suspicious circumstances at a recycling depot in the 100 block of Omands Creek Boulevard on September 28th.

The Body of Mary Madeline Yellowback, 33, from Gods River, MB was found mixed in with recycling materials that were picked up in the city of Winnipeg.

Cst. Jay Murray said “Workers were sorting through recycled material that had come in from the City of Winnipeg and at that time they discovered her amongst other recyclable materials,”

Police are working on identifying the victim and notifying her next of kin. No other information is available at this time.

Little information available on Winnipeg’s latest Homicide of a 17-year-old

Police and Paramedics responded to a report of a male assaulted in the railway underpass on McPhillips St. near Logan Ave on September 24th at approximately 4:00pm.

The victim, a 17-year-old male, was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries. No other information is available at this time.

Update September 30th
A 13-year-old male of Winnipeg has been charged with Second Degree Murder and remains in custody.

73-year-old male dies in hospital after a violent assault. Winnipeg youth charged with 2nd degree murder

Winnipeg Police responded to report of an assault in front of a residence in the 400 block of Redwood Avenue on September 23rd at approximately 2:15am.

Police arrived at the scene to find the assault was still in progress. The 73-year-old victim was rushed to hospital in critical condition as he sustained serious upper-body injuries. He died of his injuries on September 24th.

Police arrested a male youth at the scene. He was charged with Second Degree Murder,  Aggravated Assault and Fail to Comply with Sentence x 2 regarding this incident

Jason Peter John James found violently beaten to death in Winnipeg.

Winnipeg Police responded to a ‘Check the Wellbeing’ in the 300 block of Pritchard Ave on September 22nd at approximately 1:30pm.

Police arrived to find Jason Peter John James, 40, of Winnipeg, deceased. Officers said James had been violently assaulted.

Police are searching for two male suspects.
1 . Michael Anthony Caribouis described as an Indigenous male, 28 years old, with black hair and brown eyes. Approximately 5’9″ in height and weighs approximately 140 lbs.

2. Faron Alexander Spence is described as an Indigenous male, 39 years old, with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5’8″ in height and weighs approximately 140 lbs.

Both men are wanted for second degree murder. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6508

Darrion Moffatt dies in Windsor shooting incident

Windsor police responded to a report of an injured man at a residence located in the 300 block of Hall Avenue, on September 8th at approximately 1:35am.

Police located 18-year-old Darrion Moffatt, who was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Moffatt died of his injuries in hospital on September 10th.

The death of Shawn Johnnie in Whitehorse is being investigated as a homicide

Police say Shawn Johnnie, 39, of Whitehorse had been transported from Whitehorse General Hospital, to Vancouver hospital with severe injuries on September 12th. Mr Johnnie died of his injuries later that day.

An autopsy was conducted on September 14th, at Vancouver General Hospital. Autopsy results revealed the death of Johnnie was a homicide.

Anyone who may have seen or had contact with Mr. Johnnie in the days leading up to his death on September 12th, is asked to contact RCMP at 867-667-5555.

Amon Kelleter charged with the death of a 17-year-old girl in Jacksonville New Brunswick

Woodstock RCMP responded to a home at approximately  4:20pm on September 11th, on report of an unresponsive girl.

Police and paramedics arrived at the home to find a 17-year-old girl deceased. Amon Kelleter, 18, was arrested at the scene and charged with First Degree Murder.

The name of the victim and cause of death have not been released due to a publication ban.

IHIT Investigating the Homicide of Michael Thompson in Richmond BC

Richmond RCMP responded to an abandoned residence in the 9000-block of Odlin Road after the body of a man was discovered inside the building on September 20th at approximately 8:30am.

Police arrived to find  37-year-old Michael Thompson of Richmond deceased. Thompson’s death was deemed suspicious and The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team was called in to take conduct of the investigation.

“The investigation is in its early stages and it is unknown if this incident was targeted”  Corporal Frank Jang of IHIT said in a press release. IHIT is releasing Mr. Thompson’s name in hopes of gaining information from the community regarding his activities leading up to his death.

Laval police investigating the death of Sebastien Vena

Laval police were called to  Fusion restaurant on Levesque Blvd. around 8 p.m on September 25th on report of a shooting.

Police and paramedic arrived to find 46-year-old Sebastien Vena, suffering from gunshot wounds. Vena was taken to hospital where he died of his injuries.

It has been reported that a suspect entered the restaurant, fired at Vena, and fled the scene.

Vena is known to police and had convictions for attempted murder, assault, drug trafficking, and had ties to organized crime.
