Toronto homicides #45 & 46 – Dalbert Allison and Patrick McKenna die of gunshot wounds

Toronto  police responded to a shooting in the Lightwood Drive and Sanagan Road area on June 24th at approximately 2:13am.

It was reported to police that the suspects knocked on the door, the door was answered by one of the victims and shots were fired. Patrick McKenna, 20, of Toronto and Dalbert Allison, 40, of Toronto were both stuck and pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police described the suspect as male, wearing a black top and red track pants,  face concealed by either a mask or a hood. There is no information regarding the second suspect.

Toronto Homicide #44 – Joseph Whittick charged with murder in Etobicoke stabbing of Winston Freckleton

Toronto police responded to report of an injured male in the area of  Martin Grove Road and John Garland Boulevard on June 23rd at 12:33pm.

Police said there was an altercation involving two men. One man was seriously injured, and the other fled the scene. The victim, Winston Freckleton, 56, was found at the scene suffering from obvious signs of trauma. He was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Police arrested Joseph Whittick a short distance away, and charged him with first degree murder.

Update, two men charged – Brandon Hall shot to death in Brampton

Peel police responded to report of a shooting at a home located on Martree Crescent in the city of Brampton, on June 21st at approximately 4:40am.

Police arrived to find Brandon Hall, 21, suffering from gunshot wounds. Hall was pronounced deceased at the scene.

On Friday November 2nd 2018, Peel police arrested Evan Wright, 19 years of age and Philip Fitzpatrick, 21 years of age both from the Brampton area. Wright ad Fitzpatrick have both been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Brandon Hall.

David Sura charged in Windsor Ontario’s second homicide in less that 10 days

Windsor Police Service received a phone call from an adult male who was at a residence located in the 1600 block of Drouillard Road on June 20th at approximately 10:20am. Officers went to the home to speak with the man.

From the information police received from the caller, police attended a residence on Everts Avenue where they found a 66-year -old man deceased.

Police arrested the caller,David Sura, 38, the son of he victim. Sura has been charged with First Degree Murder in relation to the death of his father.

Darrell Tuesday charged with first degree murder after the body of a missing 15 year old girl was found behind a skating rink

O.P.P said 15 year old Autumn Andy had last been seen on June 10. Her body was found on June 13th, behind an outdoor skating rink in Mishkosiminiziibiing.

The victim’s body was sent to Toronto for autopsy. The autopsy revealed the manner of death to be a homicide, police will not be releasing the cause of death at this time.

Police arrested Darrell Tuesday, 24, on June 13th and charged him with first-degree-murder. Police said the victim and the accused were known to each other.


Ronald Chandler, stabbed to death in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police responded to a report of an injured male at 926 Courtland Avenue East, at approximately 8:45pm on June 18th.

Police arrived to find Ronald Chandler, 66, suffering from obvious injuries. Chandler was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police are looking to speak to a man who was seen in the area at the time of the stabbing. He is described as white, late 20s to early 30s with a thin build and short, light-coloured hair. He was wearing a black backpack and carrying a guitar.

Update August 24th
Jeremy Peter Winnan, 22, from Kitchener has been charged with second degree murder, one count of Indignity to a Dead Body and Breach Probation.

Woman found dead in Yekooche Reserve, RCMP investigating

Fort St. James RCMP responded to a report of an injured woman on the Yekooche Reserve, on June 21st at approximately 2:00am.

“Upon police arrival the adult female was deceased.” said Cpl. Madonna Saunderson. Yekooche is located approximately 1.5 hours west of Fort St. James.

Police have not released the identity of the victim or the cause of death.

Jamie Lee Bishop, killed in Eastern Passage drive by shooting

RCMP responded to report of a 21-year-old man being shot while walking along Hornes Rd. in Eastern Passage, on June 12th at approximately 12:45am.

Police said a man and a woman were walking down the road when a passing car stopped and opened fire on the victim. Police said the vehicle in question is described as a dark, 4-door, Chevrolet car.

Jamie Lee Bishop, of Lunenburg County, has been identified as the victim of a homicide.

Update August 2nd
Rae’heem Downey, 20, has been charged with first-degree murder in the fatal drive-by shooting that took the life of Jamie Lee Bishop.

Peter Joseph Kaminski found dead in Lessard Lake

Mayerthorpe RCMP were called out to a cabin at Lessard Lake where they found the body of Peter Joseph Kaminski, 57, on June 16th.

An autopsy was carried out by the chief medical examiner’s office in Edmonton on June 19th, revealing the cause of death to be a homicide.

No other information has been made public at this time.
