RCMP investigating the death of a Neepawa man as a homicide

Neepawa RCMP were called to a home in the community at approximately 3am.

On arrival police located the victim who was pronounced deceased at the scene. RCMP said the death of the man is being investigated as a homicide.

No other information has been released at this time.

Update September 30th, 2018

RCMP have made arrests in relation to the death of a Neepawa man after a lengthy investigation. Molly Syganiec, 21, of Brandon, Manitoba, was arrested on September 26, 2018, and charged with Second Degree Murder. Denver Henderson, 34, of Killarney, Manitoba, was arrested on September 26, 2018, and charged with Manslaughter and Accessory After the Fact to Murder.

Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of Kelsie Lesergent, 20, of Brandon, Manitoba. She is decribed as 5’6″, 119 lbs, brown eyes, and brown hair. She may be in the Brandon Area.

Kenrick First Rider found dead in Lethbridge

EMS were called to a report of an unresponsive man inside a home in the 1200 block of 9 Avenue North on November 27th at approximately 7:20pm.

Emergency crews located the victim, 45 year old Kenrick First Rider who was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators determined First Rider had been involved in a dispute with two other men at the home which ended in a physical altercation that resulted in First Rider death.

Rylan James Wyatt Twigg, 23, attended the police station in connection with First Rider’s death and was arrested without incident, and charged with second degree murder.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Simon Danny Scout, 19, pictured below. Scout is wanted for second degree murder. Anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 403-328-4444.

Cornell Henry dies after an attack at the Saskatoon Correctional Centre

Police sad Nathan Ermine, 29, and Raven Don Constant, 24, were initially charged with aggravated assault following the beating of 40-year-old Cornell Henry on October. 23, 2017, at the Saskatoon Correctional Centre.

Henry was taken to hospital where where he was placed in an induced coma due to his severe head injuries. Henry died from his injuries on November 3rd.

On April 11th 2018, Ermine’s charge was upgraded to manslaughter.

Ottawa homicide #14 – Zakaria Iqbal stabbed to death

Ottawa police responded to a disturbance call in the 200 block of Montreal Road. on November 27, at approximately 9:30 pm.

Police were advised that an altercation had occurred and that people had been stabbed. Zakaria Iqbal, 18,  was found without vitals and was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.

Little information available in the Neepawa homicide

Neepawa RCMP were called to a home on November 25th at approximately 3:00am on report of an unresponsive man.

Police arrived at the home to find the victim dead. RCMP Major Crime Services and Forensic Identification Services are assisting in the investigation.

More information will be added as it becomes available.

Halifax police investigating after a 70 year old man dies in Clarmar Care Ltd.

Halifax police were called to Clarmar Care Ltd. on November 22nd at 8:45 pm on report of an assault. It was reported that a 64 year old man got into an altercation with a 70 year old man.

The 70 year old man then had a medical episode, and passed away at 9:22 pm.  The suspect was taken into custody for questioning, however no charges have been formally laid.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.

Manslaughter charge laid in Gjoa Haven Nunavut

Gojo Haven police responded to report of a man suffering stab wounds on the front steps of a home on November 16th.

The victim was rushed to a medical station where he died of his injuries. Police have arrested and charged a man with manslaughter in relation to the stabbing death. No other information will be released as the matter is before the courts.

Shane Scott Kenneth Sinclair charged in the death of a Peguis First Nation man

RCMP responded to a report that the man was missing around 10:30 pm, on Saturday, Nov. 18. Investigation lead police to a home in the community where the 55 year old man was found deceased.

Shane Scott Kenneth Sinclair, of Peguis, was arrested on November 21st, and charged with second degree murder. Police have not released the name of the victim or cause of death.
