OPP said the crash happened on Sunday, August 27th at around 1:30am near Cannifton Road when a westbound pickup truck collided with an eastbound Subaru.
The passenger of the Subaru, a 30 year old woman Loyalist Township, was pronounced at the scene. The driver of the Subaru remains in hospital.
Police said the 16 year old pickup truck driver had been driving on the wrong side of the highway. He is facing charges of manslaughter, criminal negligence causing bodily harm, and theft over $5,000 of a motor vehicle.
Vancouver police were called to a Downtown Eastside apartment on Princess Avenue near Alexander Street, August 28th at around 3pm on report of a deceased man.
Police arrived to the scene to find Roscoe Henry Carmack, 54, dead in a suspicious manner. VPD’s Major Crime Section took over the investigation.
Randall Whitworth Hill, 34, has been charged with second degree murder in relation to the death of Carmack and remains in custody.

Surrey police responded to report of a shooting on August 29th at approximately 8:46pm in the 6300 block of 166 Street. Police located the victim in the drivers seat of a vehicle.
The victim, Pardeep Singh, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police believe the homicide was targeted and said that Singh was associated to gangs.
Cpl. Meghan Foster said police are looking for a light coloured minivan that was seen fleeing the scene after the shooting.

Cape Breton Police responded to a Prince Street address on August 29th at approximately 11 a.m. after receiving a report of a death.
Police found the body of 54 year old James David Matthews in his apartment. Staff Sgt. Phillip Ross said Thursday he could not release any additional information on the case other than the death of Matthews is being treated as a homicide.

Aaron Shaun Young of New Waterford has been charged with second degree murder in the death of Matthews.
Montreal Police said they received several 911 calls on August 29th at around 10:15 pm reporting gunshots at a building at Lausanne Ave. near Fleury St.
Police said a group of people exited a vehicle, opened the door to the building and opened fire in the hallway. A 31 year old man was found dead at the scene. Police said he died of several gunshot wounds.
No arrests have been made at this time.

Ville de Lévis Police Department responded to report of a body found dead in a home on Saint-Georges Street on August 25th at approximately 8:00pm. The victim, Marie-Lisa Desbiens, 30, was “fatally wounded by a knife,” said Christine Coulombe of the Sûreté du Québec.
Pierre Gagné-Boily, 33, was arrested on August 25th and charged second degree murder. He is scheduled bach in court on September 6th.
A 24 year old man is facing a first degree murder charge after 60 year old Claude Gas was found dead in his home on Bellevue St. in Saint-Lambert-de-Lauzon on August 28th.
The accused is believed to be the victim’s son, however this has not been confirmed by police. Police have released little information around this homicide other than that the accused is known to police.
