Winnipeg police and emergency personnel responded to a residence in the 100 block of Euclid Avenue on report of an injured male on July 27, at approximately 7:45pm.
At the scene police found a 31 year old woman and a 29 year old man both suffering from stab wounds. The two victims were rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries. The woman has been upgraded to stable condition, Rohn Abraham 29 died of his injuries.

Durham police responded to a welfare check of a resident at a home on Brandy Court, on July 28th at approximately 1:30pm. On arrival police found 70 year old Bodwatie Persaud without vitals.
Police said Mrs Persaud has obvious signs of trauma on her body but have not released the cause of death, only saying the death is domestic related.
Ganesh Persaud, 71, of Brandy Court was arrested and charged with second degree murder.
Police have not released the relationship between the victim and the accused.
RCMP in Pelican Narrows responded to a report of an injured man outside of a business on July 29th.
The 25 year old victim was airlifted to a trauma center in Saskatchewan where he died of his injuries.
Brennan Lee Cook 22, was arrested and is facing a charge of manslaughter.
Emergency crews were called to a fire at a home nestled in the woods near Clam Harbour Beach on Monday July 24th Just before 9am.
Fire officials said the blaze started in the garage and spread to the attached home. Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire before it spread to the woods.
Two people were found dead in the home. Police have confirmed that the deceased are both male and female, however their identities will not be released at this time.
Update Aug 4
Police said the 46-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man died as a result of a murder-suicide. The woman was the murder victim. Police are not looking for any other suspects.
York Regional Police responded to a report of an injured person at a home on Tall Grass Trail in the City of Vaughan on July 28th at approximately 7am.
At the scene police located the 24 year old male victim, who was suffering from serious injury consistant with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died of his injuries at around 1pm.
Police arrested a 29 year old Toronto man without incident at approximately 2:30pm. The suspect will remain in custody as the investigation continues.
According to police, an 18 year old male was found dead on 2nd Avenue, across from the Gimli Theater, on July 24th at approximately 2pm.
A member of the victim’s family identified the victim as Evan Engbaek. Police have not released the cause of death at this time.
A person of interest had been arrested but has since been released. Little information has been released to the victims family or the public .
Update July 28th
The 16 year old male suspect has been re-arrested and charged with second-degree murder in connection with the stabbing death of Engbaek.
RCMP were called to a rural property in Hardwood Ridge on July 23 at approximately 5:30 pm on report of a body. Police arrived to find 50 year old Ronald Richard dead at the scene.
An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death.
RCMP have said the homicide was not random, and no arrests have been made at this time.

Ottawa police were called to a Burnside Road address after a 35 year old woman was found deceased in her apartment back in March 2017. Her death was initially considered suspicious and has now been deemed a homicide.
Ottawa police have issued a press release with the victims name, however it has been stated that her name is under a publication ban..
Mohamad Barkhadle, 31, was arrested by police on July 26th. Barkhadle first-degree murder in the death of the woman.

Toronto police responded to a shooting in the area of Empringham Drive/McLevin Avenue on July 23 at approximately 6:45 pm.
Police said the victim, Demal Graham, 25, of Toronto, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
It has been reported by police that a man with a brown complexion , 20s, facial hair, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, was seen speeding away on McLevin Avenue in a light coloured four-door sedan.

(2) A person commits homicide when he causes injury to a child before or during its birth as a result of which the child dies after becoming a human being.
Montreal police responded to a domestic violence report on the evening of July 23. On arrival police said the woman’s husband was not at the home and despite police recommendations, the woman didn’t want to leave the home.
Police received another call at approximately 2:30am on July 24th. The caller said a woman had been knocking at her door and was bleeding from the stomach.
The victim Raja Ghazi 33, was 8 months pregnant when she was allegedly stabbed several times by her husband Sofiane Ghazi, 37.
Raja Ghazi underwent an emergency C-Section in hops of saving the baby. Ghazi’s child died a few hours after delivery. Raja Ghazi survived the stabbing.
Sofiane Ghazi turned himself into police and was charged with first-degree murder of the child and the attempted murder of his wife.
