Update: Man dies after Sunalta C-Train station stabbing

Calgary police were called to the Sultana C-Train Station on April 28th at around 11:20pm on report of a fight between two men.

Police arrived to fine one man suffering from a serious stab wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The victims name has not been released at this time.

Update May 4th
Police have released the identity of the victim. Eric Lavallee of no fixed address was stabbed to death on April 28th.

Police are asking for help from the public in locating Mark Lecaine, a person of intrest.

Update: Ager Hasan arrested in texas for the death of Melinda Vasilije

Police are looking for Ager Mohsin Hasan, 24, from Hamilton, after the body of Melinda Vasilije 22,  was found dead in an apartment on Country Hill Drive in Kitchener around 3am on April 28th.

Police have not released the cause of Vasilije’s death at this time, only saying that they believe Hasan is responsible.

Hasan was last seen in Canada in a 2016 black Honda HR-V with the license plate BPKT509, crossing into the U.S.A. via the Peace Bridge.

Pennsylvania State Police said a person matching the description of Hasan was seen removing a license plate from a vehicle in the parking lot of a Walmart in Harborcreek, Pennsylvania on April 28th at around 10am.

Ager Mohsin Hasan should be considered dangerous, anyone with information is asked to call 911.

Update July 12th

Ager Mohsin Hasan, 24, was arrested in Texas in connection to the death of 22-year-old Melinda Vasilije. Waterloo police are working with American officials on transporting Hasan back to Canada. Hasan is facing a second degree murder charge in the death of Melinda Vasilije.

Lori Katherine Jollimore found dead in Dartmouth

Halifax police were called to a home on Farquharson Street, April 27th at 1:09pm on report of a sudden death. Police arrived to find Lori Katherine Jollimore 58, of Dartmouth dead at the scene.

An autopsy preformed revealed the deal of Jollimore was in fact a homicide. Police investigation continues, as no arrests have been made at this time.

Penticton man dies from a gunshot wound

Police were called to a complex in 900 block of Creston Avenue on April 26th on report of shots fired.

Police arrived to find one man dead at the scene. Police arrested the suspect nearby, and seized a firearm.

Update April 27
Police said the person that was arrested for the shooting has been released from custody. No charges have been laid at this time.

Muzaffer Darwaish died from a gunshot wound in Richmond

Richmond Police said the discovery of Muzaffer Darwaish’s death was made around 6:30am. Police found the body of 28 year old Darwaish on the 2800 block of River Road, April 24th.

Darwaish died as a result of gunshot wounds at the scene.

Update: Kamar Macintosh shot to death in Mississauga

Peel Police were called to the area of Hurontario Street and King Street in Mississauga on April 27th at approximately 3:26pm on report of a shooting.

Police arrived to find 19 year old Kamar Macintosh suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Macintosh was rushed to hospital where he died of his injured.

Update: On May 3rd a 17 year old young offender was arrested and charged with first degree murder.

Peel police have issued a warrant for the arrest of:
1 . Shamar Lawson Meredith, 18, is described as male, black, 6’0” feet tall, 180 pounds, with a thin build, dark complexion.

2. Thulani Chizanga, 19, is described as male, black, 5’9” feet tall, 159 pounds, with a thin build, dark complexion, black afro-styled hair, right handed, has a mole on his lower lip.

Update: Chief Jennifer Evans said in a press conference that Thulani Chizanga has turned himself in, and the search for Shamar Lawson Meredith continues.

Ottawa’s second homicide of the year: Devon Labelle dies of a stab wound

Police were called to the 200 block of Montreal Road at around 3:20pm on April 27th on report of a stabbing.

Police found Devon Labelle, 24, suffering from life threatening injuries. Labelle was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Update: 2 girls arrested in the beating death of Serena Mckay

Serena Mckay 19, was last seen by her family Saturday night and was reported missing on Sunday April 23 at around 6pm. Police received a report of a body of a woman near a home at around 8pm on April 23. Police arrived to find McKay Dead.

Mckay was beaten to death in Sagkeeng on April 22, by two schoolmates. A video of the beating has been circulating on Facebook.

Sagkeeng Chief Derrick Henderson said that Serena McKay was not from Sagkeeng, though she attended school in Sagkeeng. Police said that she lived in the community of Powerview-Pine Falls, Man.

RCMP said the suspects, age 16 and 17, have been arrested on second degree murder charges and are in custody.

Update January 11th 2018

The two teen girls who were arrested in relation to the death of Serena McKay, both pleaded guilty to manslaughter on January 10th 2018.

Update  August 3, 2018
The 17-year-old girl who was 16 at the time of McKay’s death has been sentenced  to two years in prison and a year of conditional supervision for manslaughter in the  beating death of her schoolmate, Serena McKay.

Another girrl who was also involved in the attack pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 40 months in custody.

Jonathan Sellars and Devon Stewart are the victims of a double homicide in Williams Lake BC

Little information has been released in the deaths of Jonathan Sellars 30, and Devon Stewart 26.

Police said the bodies were discovered after being called to a home on April 18th.

Police have not released the cause of death, only saying that the deaths of Sellars and Stewart was homicide.
