Montreal police responded to report of an altercation near De Maisonneuve Blvd. and St. Laurent Blvd on July 28th at approximately 11:40 pm.

Police and paramedics arrived to find an 18-year-old unresponsive and suffering from severe injuries. The victim Simon Olivier Bendwell, 18, was rushed to hospital where he died of a stab wound overnight.

No arrests have been made at this time.
